So Sweet

These popsicle's are from the latest release by Frantic Stamper called "Fun with Food".
They are the perfect size to paint up and have some fun with. I used my water colours to paint them up, but any kind of ink medium can be used. I used Wink of Stella to get that "cold" look.
The background is the Gingham Stencil, also included with this release. I did a "Stencil Monoprint" technique with the stencil, using my watercolour paints as well. As I was doing this on cardstock, I worked quickly to ensure the paint would not damage the cardstock I used paper towel on top of the stencil as I put it down. That took up any excess water and also acted as a drying sheet. I lifted the stencil quickly to ensure I did not damage the cardstock. I then die cut the piece with my stitched rectangle die and attached it to the bright yellow card base.
I put together the popsicle's, and attached using foam tape. I then put the card in my Misti and stamped the sentiment using Ranger Ink in Vibrant Fuchsia. These are absolutely my favorite inks for stamping sentiments. The colours are rich and beautiful and they stamp up perfectly.
Thank you for stopping by today.
