Thank you

Good morning everyone!

I would like to share this thank you card that I did using the beautiful stencil from Hero Arts called Large Flower. It is such a fun stencil to use. I did this using sponge daubers as I wanted more control over where the ink went.
I first die cut my panel using my stitched rectangle die, then taped the back of my cardstock to my work space and positioned the stencil in place, using washi tape. To do stencils, I use a piece of white paper that I have laminated to a 8.5x11 piece. I can daub off on it and turn it easily making this kind of stencilling more uniform. I stencilled using one colour only, being Melon. Once the flower was done I put the stencil panel in my Misti and stamped the sentiment several times using Spring Rain. I added Wink of Stella to the flower centre, then attached the panel on fun foam to my card base.
What you say ... no sequins! I felt it did not need to be dressed any further. 😉

Thank you for visiting today.
Products Used: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock, Hero Arts Large Flower Stencil, Altenew Majestic Blooms for the sentiment, Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles, Simon Says Stamp Ink Melon and Spring Rain, Wink of Stella Clear, Fun Foam.

  1. Beautifully stenciled large dahlia, Kia. I love the shading you achieved using only 1 color. But I also like how you stamped your sentiment is a darker color, which made it really stand out. TFS mf. Hugs
