Sending Hugs

This is I think my first floral card for 2018, and as spring is on the way, I will be doing more floral cards in the days to come.

I started this card by die cutting the piece of watercolour paper using my stitched rectangle die, then placing it in my Mini Misti, inking the flowers using the 2 different colours of Ranger ink. I then turned the paper around and did the same for the second flower. Once that was complete I stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then added water to the flowers and dropped in some watercolours in a very loose fashion adding a damp brush around the edges of the flowers to spread the colours out. I then stamped the hugs sentiment in the black and once all was dry, I attached the panel to my pink card base using foam tape. For the sending you I stamped on watercolour paper and die cut using my small fishtail label die and attached on some fun foam. And, as a day without sequins is like a day without sunshine, down went a few sequins using the same colours.

I played in 2 challenges today, using these pictures as my inspiration pieces. The details follow.
This from the Joy Clair Challenge.
And this is from the Splitcoaststampers Challenge.
