You

For the most part, on Saturday mornings I participate with the inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers, which I have been doing now for over 10 years. Through that time I have never been disappointed, and sometimes it has been hard to decide on one piece. Today was different, and this is why. Today the site is a blog chock-full of theme rooms! How fun is that ... I clicked on flowers and up came pictures of floral nails and then I saw these nails:
Need I say more?

Just yesterday Frantic Stamper had their latest release called Moms Garden, and part of that was the vintage floral stencil I used for my card.

I started by die cutting the black piece of cardstock with my stitched rectangle for nice clean crisp edges. I then stencilled using white embossing paste and while it was drying, in my Misti I stamped the "you" sentiment in the red and die cut it out. The "thinking of" is stamped in black and die cut. Once the panel was dry I attached a piece of fun foam to the back, and attached it to my card base. The label is glued on and the "you" is attached on foam dots. To finish I added the red drops with the Viva Perlen-pen.

Thank you for dropping by today ...

  1. Oh my, Kia, I am just now realizing that this is a stencil! WOW! What a gorgeous stencil that turned out so perfectly. I am so impressed. I absolutely love the pattern and love the red "you" with the rest of the sentiment! Stunningly striking with the black and white and touches of red. Swooning over this stencil (you may well have enabled me - haha!). Loving it..and sending warm hugs and love to you! xoxo
