Valentine Hugs

Sending Valentine Hugs to you today.

I did the background for this card earlier this week using the smooshing technique and distress inks, adding in some flecks of yellow acrylic paint for a change of pace. I also used my stacked hearts die and added water to the panel over the die to achieve the subtle hearts in the background. I then die cut the panel using my stitched rectangle die, and attached to my card base with foam tape.

The image is an oldie but goodie from Penny Black called Hugs. The sentiment is stamped using Ranger Archival Ink Monarch Orange. For the image, I water coloured using my Zig Brushes and used my ScanNCut to cut it out, then and attached on foam dots, and finished my card with a scattering of sequins.

This was such a fun card to make, and the start to some Valentine cards for this year.

Thank you for visiting today.
