Carrots Anyone

How about some happy bright colours to take the drudge out of this winter weather. It was just before Christmas when I started making this card for the January release at Frantic Stamper. So here I sat surrounded by Christmas thinking Easter. With the weather we have been having, Easter became a wish, so when I saw this cute Vintage Bunny I immediately thought of doing happy and bright colours to show her off. I painted the plaid background using two Daniel Smith watercolours then die cut using the deckled rectangle die. I kept the bunny all in white except for the bright pink eye, which has her popping off the background. I tucked the carrot in under her paw and attached her on foam dots inside the Oval Tangled Frame, which I water coloured using the same paints. To finish, I added sequins and the Easter die sentiment.

I admit, I smile when I look at this card.

Thank you for visiting today ... see you with more from the Frantic Stamper release in the coming days.

Products: All dies are Frantic Stamper, Neenah Solar White Cardstock, Fabriano Hot Press Watercolour Paper, Daniel Smith Watercolours Opera Rose and Lemon Yellow, Kuretake White Gold, Sequins, Foam Dots.
