By the Sea

Making this card has me yearning for spring to arrive, but that will not be for awhile, so why not make summer in your imagination.

This is my sample for this week's Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers, which is to make a card about travel. I would love to go overseas again, which is what I was thinking with this design.

I started by sponging the colours on Neenah card stock, then die cut the sponged area with my waves die. I stamped and heat embossed the anchor in silver, then die cut with the deckled circle die, as I did the panel, using the deckled rectangle die. I attached the waves, stamped the sentiment and attached the panel to my base using foam tape. I added foam tape to the circle die before attaching it, and finished with a few sequins.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoy this card.
