Believe in the Magic

I enjoyed making Noel so much I wanted to do another card featuring sponging.

I did the sponging on a separate piece of cardstock as I wanted to die cut it as well ... not such a good idea on a card base. Using Tim Holtz Distress Inks I sponged on the colours starting with the lightest to the darkest. I then flicked on droplets of water, laying down paper towel to dry. With my paint brush I then flicked on some silver paint.

Once dry, I die cut the star panel and replaced the outline with another piece that I cut from silver glitter cardstock, then replaced the positives from my original piece. The sentiment I stamped and heat embossed with silver embossing powder, and added one of the silver stars on a pop dot to finish.
