with thanks

I love the colours from the colour challenge at Splitcoaststampers today, so I decided to play along.
The colours shown are Stampin Up colours, so they are a bit different from the colours I used, which are Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I also used Ranger Tim Holtz watercolour paper for the texture for my flower petals.  As I wanted my card to stay fresh, I stamped using the colours but kept the flower petals in the white. I used two different stamp sets for my images, stamping the flowers in the pink, yellow and light teal shade, and the leaves in the green. For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder on the black cardstock and matted with vellum before attaching to my base on foam strips. And yes, I added a few sequins to finish.😃
Thanks so much for visiting today.

  1. Kia, what a beautiful way to use these colors. I love that you kept a lot of white space and (as always) added the lovely complimentary sequins. Beautifully done! Hugs! (And give little CC a nudge from me...hehe!)
