"Special You" is a thank you card for a special person. That does not mean that everyone is not special of course! This technique has been done many times before, and I am adding another. These background stamps are perfect for this type of card, and I love the look. I heat embossed the background stamp with gold embossing powder and sponged on my colours using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Once I was happy with my sponging, I sprinkled on some water droplets along with some splatters of gold ink. For my sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment with the gold embossing powder and die cut the thank you using black fun foam, layered with gold metallic paper. To finish, of course I have a splattering of sequins. 😉
