Sparkle Birthday Butterfly

A bold stamp and some bold colours for this card today ... I initially planned to emboss in white, but it is a dull and dreary day in my neck of the woods so I was in the mood for some drama!  Using my Misti I stamped the background stamp off the page in black ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.  I sponged on the colour getting just slightly lighter near the edge.  I then stamped the sentiment.  For the butterfly, I stamped using the same method, but on water colour paper and painted with my aqua brush before die cutting the image.  I styled the butterfly slightly before attaching to my card. To finish I added Wink of Stella to the butterfly in a few spots, pretty IRL.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
