Dreaming of a White Christmas

A card I made for a friend for Christmas and I finally gave it to her, so now I can post it. My inspiration for this card was taken from this vase.
To achieve this look I did the background using Inka Gold and Silks. On my craft mat I mixed platinum, steelblue and a small amount of emerald green and spritzed with water to make a puddle, then I smooshed my cardstock in the puddle and set aside to dry. I also did another piece for the inside of the card. Once dry I dipped my paintbrush in some Silks Acrylic in Emerald and flicked it on my piece.  She likes blues and silver and greens, so this fit the bill. I die cut my panel and attached on some fun foam before attaching to my card. The big snowflake is cut in platinum cardstock and the sentiment is done using silver embossing powder. A few sequins finished my card. Thank you for having a look today and I send wishes to all for a Very Merry Christmas.
