Birthday Gold

A little change of pace from the winter cards today. I am always in need of Birthday cards and look for inspiration where I can. Today I participated in the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers which was a visit to a website called Decorative Dishes. I picked this plate for my inspiration. I used fabric paper from Art Neko Stamps called Gold Sakura Blossom for my base and tucked it behind a frame that is on foam strips. I added the birthday sentiment and corner flower which are heat embossed with gold embossing powder, and being me, a few sequins and crystals. I love the paper and am very pleased with the look of my card. Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. What a gorgeous card, Kia, and I love the gold. The main focal image is beautiful, and I love the added flower on the frame with the sentiment. Beautifully done! Hugs!
