You make me Smile

I did this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week. For a change of pace a scrapbooker is featured, and while I am not a scrapbooker, I did find inspiration from this scrapbook page. I loved the background and wanted to try and recreate that look while keeping a monochromatic look for my card. I embossed the background paper with the leafy vine embossing folder. For my flower background I spritzed the watercolour paper and let the paints run as I turned the paper. Once dry, I stencilled on the diamond pattern using TH Distress Peacock Feathers ink and then stamped the sentiment and daisy in the black and added a few sequins, pearls and crystals to finish - no surprise there eh?
