Poinsettia Christmas

I made this for a customer who needed a few last minute cards. Earlier this month I made some of these backgrounds for future use which is done by inking an embossing folder and spritzing with water. I also embossed the background at the same time. I added the centre panel where I heat embossed the snowflakes falling, framed with red cardstock and the border frame. I coloured the Poinsettia with Spectrum Noir markers, and styled before attaching to the card. I then added crystals to the flower centre, and of course sequins, pearls and gems to the card design.  Thanks for having a peek ....

  1. Oh, Kia, this is so beautiful, and I just love the background - lovely shading and just enough. And your poinsettia is beautiful! These are a favorite for me at Christmas, and the one that we planted from a pot two years ago is blooming large in our front courtyard! It's gorgeous and always turns beautifully red to fullness on Christmas Day! Hugs and a blessed Christmas!
