Many thanks

I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast today, where we had a visit to a Pinterest Board all about Shells. I picked this for my inpsiration, mostly because of the green colour. I saw this technique thanks to Loll Thompson on YouTube that showed alcohol inks used with water! So unusual that I had to try. A plastic container with cold water, deep enough to lay your paper in flat, and alcohol inks in various colours of your choice. You have to work fast I found, but the results are wonderful, and that is how the background paper design was done, as well as my shells. I did others which I will look forward to using in the coming weeks. Thank you for having a peek ... Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians.
Products: Impression Obsession Sea Shells, Art-C Stamps, Sequins.

  1. Oh, how beautiful, Kia, and I'm so surprised to read that you've used alcohol inks for the background. Yes, I imagine you would have to work quickly, but I love the dreamy look of this background. It's stunning! Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving in Canada! Hugs!
