Woodland Borders

 

Meet "Woodland Borders".

This die is by Sizzix and part of their "Woodland Borders" set of dies. To the set I added flowers that are included in the packaging which can be added to any of the pieces.

The background is done using Pinkfresh Ink in Grassy Knoll. I added the extra flowers that are included in the set to the floral dies along with the black dots, which probably should be bigger.

To colour the flowers I used Copic markers in RV23, 100 and FYG2, which is a florescent colour and a favourite of mine.

I also like the look of the green in the border with the green colour of the card. They get along well together I think.

The border die is 3 (three) pieces glued together which forms a substantial piece adding extra dimenstion to the piece.

To finish my card I added the birthday sentiment stamping with green ink from VersaFine Clair ink.
