Pretty Leaves

 

Meet "Pretty Leaves".

This die set is by Tim Holtz and called "Christmas Poinsettia". For the life of me I do not see a Poinsettia here so I decided to use it as a leaf die and coloured accordingly.

I mixed Pinkfresh Inks using Emerald City and Seaside inks for the background, smooshing the colours as I went.

I very much love the way this turned out with these colours making for beautiful leaves with a gathering of sparkle at the top.

I cut the top piece almost to the leaf's edge and added the extra leaves below the bundle of the leaves leaving just a bit of room.

I then added the grouping of blue rhinestones to the top of the card as shown.

Inside the card I added a piece of blue cartdstock and added die cuts saying "smile" to finish my card.  I have to say, I love this colour of blue.
