Meet "Hi Ya Bestie".
I started this card by colouring the background using a B66 Copic marker, applying 4 layers of ink to the background. I did the background by applying the ink in a cross-hatch pattern.
I then arranged the floral elements around the card keeping everything in the white cardstock using Neenah cardstock.
For the sentiment I stamped it using the B66 colour then attached it to my card front using foam squares to the card.
You might notice that a couple of the florals have leaves attached as well. I wanted to ensure I used several different die cuts with different looks for this card.
And, the bird, he is the star of the show as they always are when I make cards. For me it does not matter what style the bird is, what matters is that I have a bird!
For the inside of the card I applied the same cross-hatch pattern to the Neenah cardstock, then I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.
This is a simple and easy card to make, yet still fun! Thank you for joining me today.
See you next time.
