Floral Stems

Meet "Floral Stems".

This die set is by Simon Hurley and has many dies that are included in the set. I have used only a few of the dies provided.

The colours I picked to colour are reds, orange and yellow, purple and light purple, dark green and light green, being Copic colours V17, V15, YG13, YG17, R29, YR18 and Y18.

For the background I used  the "Argyle Plaid" embossing folder.  I started out with the card running hoizontally, but changed my mind to the A2 design.

It matters as I stamped the sentiment according to the design, using Waffle Flower "Hello Friend" stamp set in red ink.

I like the design either way so it really did not make much of a difference to me.  I was surpprised at how much I loved these colours together. It is always fun to suprprise myself!
