Oh Nuts

Meet "Oh Nuts".

These die cut squirrels are by Craft Addiction UK and I absolutely love them. One of the reasons is they are small enough that makes it easy to build a scene. Some of the dies make that impossible.

I have used Kraft cardstock for this card along with Pinkfresh Ink in Gathered Twigs. I also added Dark Bark Copic marker on the nuts and used pearl beads for the eyes.

On the branches I applied the Gathered Twigs as well, making them appear darker which adds a bit more dimentsion to the card.

To add words to the mix I am using a stamp set by Ink on 3 called Hey Squirrelly. These sentiments are so cute and perfect for this kind of card.

I stamped the sentiments using the Gathered Twigs ink by Pinkfresh Inks and added pearls for the squirrels eyes.

Inside the card I added another layer of the kraft cardstock, then stamped the sentiment using the Gathered Twigs ink. I also added a few more of the squirrel die cuts to the inside.
