Forsythia

 

This is "Forsythia".

It has been a very long time since I have made a "fancy" card. I had not been feeling well for awhile, but today I am much better, so time to make it fancy!

There is a lot of die cutting involved when doing one of these cards. They are by Spellbinders, and the movement they have is beautiful, despite the time involved in making one.

I added a few more branches than what the picture on the cover of the package had, making this a thicker bush. I loved these bushes when I was a kid, the yellow is stunning!

I die cut the leaves in shades of dark and light green and used more than than what they called for.  In the centre of each of the flowers is the stigma, some of which can be seen in the pictures.

The sentiment is by Pinkfresh and called "Always Upflifting."

Inside the card I stamped the sentiment which is also by Pinkfresh and added a couple of the flowers left over from the card.
