Happy New Year

It is time to wish you all a "Happy New Year".

After I started this card I was thinking I should have made it a 5 x 7" card. Alas too late though, I had already cut the papers so I kept the card A2.

I die cut two of the martini glasses which are by Spellbinders and coloured with Copics one in a bright pink RV17, and the other in lime green YG07 matching the papers to the snowflake background of the designer paper.

To the card front I added the snowflake paper along with a piece of pink cardstock bringing in the pink from the background of the snowflake paper. I added a few other items in the martini glasses as well.

The martini glasses are added to the background using foam tape, as are the extra pieces that I added to the glasses. The candy which look like an "S" I treated as mints which is why I coloured them using the pinks.

On the inside I printed the sentiment. I was a bit stunned to find I did not have a New Year sentiment! Go figure eh!

Well the sentiment appears to be crooked - sheez! I was on a roll up until then!. I added the two colours of cardstock, along with the snowflake paper. It looks like it is cut crooked, but it is not, when I folded the card it also folded the paper.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you enjoy this card as I certainly enjoyed making it!

Happy New Year to all!

See you next time.
