Santa Paws

 

Meet "Santa Paws".

This is a digital stamp by Craft Addiction UK called "Santa Paws". He was just too cute for me to ignore, so I purchased the digital stamp.

He reminds me so much of my Lhasa Apso Pete, which was another reason I had to go ahead and buy this digital. Pete was the absolute best dog I ever had.

When I allowed Pete's hair to grow long, he looked exactly like this digital image, too cute for words and yes, Pete wore a Santa Hat and a Christmas bandana too.

I coloured the Scarf using Copic markers in R29 and adding white polka dots with my Pandafly White gel pen. For the hat I used two colours of Copic markers, being R17 and R29.

To the "fur" hat I added Nuvo Glitter Gloss, which gives that beautiful sparkle on the fur. I know that is hard to see, it shows better on the pom pom part of the hat.

To finish my card I added Red "Pops of Colour", by Scrapbook.com. I also added highlights to his nose and the hat with the gel pen.

I doubled up the white card stock and attached the pieces to a Red Velvet Gina K Designs card base. On the inside I stamped the sentiment by Crafters Companion using Pinkfresh Ink in Candy Apple.

 

To finish off I added snow flakes on the inside of the card using white embossing powder which leaves a suble look.
