It is Winter

Meet "It Is Winter".

This stamp is by Penny Black and called "Quietude". I think it is a beautiful stamp which is why I decided to use it today.

For colour I used only two colours, being the sand colour and the blue water. It is a calm water scene hinting of mid morning.

I can see myself sitting on this beach in winter, a time of year that I love, wrapped in a blanket looking out across the water, so wonderful!

I think as a Canadian many of us are appreciative of the winter and what it brings. As I get older it is a bit harder, but I still love this time of year.

I am quite content to sit inside and watch it snow making for a beautiful scene outside.

This scene looks as though we will have snow at any minute as it certainly gives the appearance of being very cold.

I continued the scene inside the card keeping it all looking cold and stamping the sentiment which is by Taylored Expressions.
