Be Merry

 

This is "Be Merry".

These are simple Candy Canes, yet I find them to be such fun and a great look for a card to send greetings of the season.

To start my card I first die cut the pieces I would need for my card then coloured the pieces for the Candy Cane using a R46 Copic marker and glued them in place using Art Glitter glue.

I then die cut the Holly leaves and coloured using Copic markers in YG17 and YG45. Once all was die cut and coloured I put the Candy Cane together.

The Candy Cane I made using 3 pieces of cardstock for each of the canes, so it is a bit thick, but it is solid and shows the textures.

On a red Gina K Designs card base I added a piece of white cardstock to adhere the Candy Cane to. I then stamped the "Be Merry" sentiment using Pinkfresh Ink in Berrylicious.

I attached the Candy Canes to the card front using small foam squares, and glued the Ivy leaves and berries in place.

This die set is really sweet I think and perfect to send to friends with Christmas Greetings for the season. 

A simple Christmas Greeting finishes the inside of the card.
