Vintage Fall

 

Meet "Vintage Fall".

This came from a book fall pictures of the same name, Vintage Fall. It is full of "Fall/Autumn" pictures that I find to be stunning, and this is one of them.

I cut out the pieces of card that I wanted to use for my project, then die cut a circle using my stitched circle dies. I considered two dies, but changed my mind when I saw them in use and used only one die.

That is all that was needed for this card I think. The colours are stunning and my die cut circle high lights the colours in the photo.

I have seen many cards made using cardstock, and I always admire them. I just never seem to come across papers that I would want to use, until now.

I also used the paper on the inside of my card, making a border with white card stock along with the decorative papers.

Also on the inside I stamped a sentiment which is from Gina K Designs called Sweet Sentiments, which I have had for awhile.

As the piece was not quite wide enough I added white cardstock to finish it the size I wanted, which is 5.25 x 4.0".
