This is "Happy Thoughts".
These tiny flowers are by Scrapbook.com and were a freebie with other purchases I made. I always try to make a point of using these freebies to make something fun. This card certainly was fun to make.
I die cut the flowers three times so I would have a total of nine (9) flowers. I then die cut the slated square to place over the Eucalyptus coloured background which I did using foam strips.
To colour the flowers I used Copic markers in colours RV23; Y13, Y17; B04; E19; YG63, YG67, G14, YR18.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment to the card front using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle, which I also used inside the card.
Using foam strips I attached the slated background to the card front, then glued in place the flowers using Art Glitter glue.
The flowers I glued in a row, I tried different looks, but kept coming back to this placement. For some reason I felt it best complimented the card front.
I also love the look of the Eucalyptus background behind the slats of the die cut. I did consider other colours, but once again I kept coming back to the Eucalyptus.
To finish I added a piece of Hammermill cardstock to the inside of the card then stamped the sentiment and added a couple of left over flowers to finish.
Thank you for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
