So Sweet

 

This is "So Sweet".

I was not sure about the blue, but once I finished one of the flowers I was happy I used the blue. This set is by Altenew and called "Painted Posies".

My colours are from Pinkfresh inks and called Slumber, Blue Jay, Sapphire and Stargazer along with Jelly Bean Green cardstock for the leaves, with overlay of G46 on a few leaves. I also used Copic Y08.

For the background I used Spellbinders Luxe Background and Border embossing folder on both the cover and the die cut inside the card.

The flowers are propped up using foam tape with the round sentiment die glued to the card front using Art Glitter glue. 

The leaves are glued directly to the front of the card tucked in under the flowers. The "you" sentiment is stacked three high for extra dimension and attached to a 1 inch circle die.

This has a lot of texture and shows so nicely. It is so fun when a card turns out the way you wanted it to look. Some days you get a win win!

For the inside of the card I die cut the bottom portion of the embossing folder and glued it in place along with a separate piece of card stock giving the appearance of one piece.
