This is "Wildflower Garden".
There are many cards made using small images on a large card and I wanted to try this Wildflower on a large card, mine being 5.5" x 5.5".
I have to say I really do like the look of this. I am using a set by Altenew called Wildflower Garden. I have both the stamp set and the dies.
I stamped using Make Art ink in Leaf Green, Prickly Pear and Tiger Lily using two sets of the stamps and dies with foam squares in between.
For the background I used Spellbinders Petite Bow embossing folder, which is a Club of the Month folder, adding foam strips in between the embossed layer and the card base.
The base layer is Neenah 110lb cardstock and the top layer is Hammermill cardstock, also in 100lb, but thiner than the Neenah cardstock.
I very much love the look of the Petite Bows embossing in the background, along with this flower. I think it adds to the overall look of the card giving it a lot of interest.
Even though the flower is quite small compared to the overall card size, the two work well together and will hold the interest of the viewer.
To finish up I added black marker to the flower centre along with a Sharpie yellow pen, keeping in mind that the flower centre is something I can easily mess up!
Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I have.
See you next time.
