Strawberries

 

This card I made for the Inspiration Challenge today at Splitcoaststampers.com. My inspiration for this card comes from these placemats.

I am using a digital image from Power Poppy called Juicy Strawberries Digital Stamp set which also came with the sentiments that I also used.

I coloured using Copic markers in the following colours: RV02, RV04; YG23, YG17, YG67; R05, R24, R27; Y06, Y17, B01, 100.

I went around the images using B01 Copic marker, and also filled in the centre of the stamped area with the N01 Copic colour.

To attach the card panel to the Neenah cardbase I used foam tape. For the inside of the card I attached the inside panel using Art Glitter glue.

When colouring I made sure to leave highlitghts of white within the strawberries. I coloured the tiny flowers using a pale pink marker, keeping them as light as I could as they normally would be white.

To finish off the card I added a few red sequins to the front of the card. Inside the card I added another strawberry image and coloured it using the Copic markers.

I also added the sentiment inside the card, which is a fun verse going with the strawberry theme of this card.

I deliberately arranged the inside of the card as you see it. I wanted the sentiment over to the right with the second strawnerry plant to the left.
