Spread Your Wings

Meet "Spread Your Wings".

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com which goes live around 10:00 to 10:15 pm tonight. You can find my inspiration for this card here.

I kept the look of my inspiration card as it was the best layout after several attempts at finding something else that might work. It suited the Ladybugs.

This stamp and die set is an older set by Gina K Designs called Beautiful Wings. It is a large set of stamps and dies with ladybugs, butterflies and Mayflies.

To colour the ladybugs I used Copic markers in R46, RV23 and C1. I could have added shading to the stamped images but decided against it as they don't have shading in real life!

I used designer paper for the background that I had in my stash. I do not remember where it came from but I felt like it suited the ladybugs.

I stamped the sentiment from the set using Pinkfresh Ink in Berrylicious which looks great with the ladybugs.

On the inside I stamped a simple sentiment saying "Love Bug," which seemed to suit the ladybugs and the card. I also added my left over ladybugs.
