Snail Mail

Meet "Snail Mail".

Clearly, I had so much fun putting together this card, using a lot of bright colours, and you all know how much I love colour! This set is from the Small Die of the month Club for April called Snail Mail.

The grass and sky are made using cardstock, as are the Tulip leaves and leaves at the bottom of the mail box. All other pieces are copic coloured.

The interior of the mailbox is acutally grey, it appears my camera washed the colour out. Funny how it does that for the grey but leaves everything else true to colour!

The Copic markers I used to colour are: BV11, BV13; RV02, RV06; R24, R27; Y08, Y17; YG13; FRV; E23 and 100.

I added Pinkfresh gems to my finished card and am thinking I could use a few more. This is not one of those cards where less is more!

I love all the fun elements that are included in this set, especially that it includes both large and small evvelope dies and the hearts to go with them.

In between the tulip front and back I have thin foam squares attached, giving a bit more dimension to my project.

On the inside I added a couple of tulips along with the sentiment which is from Hero Arts Wild Flowers set using VersaFine Clair ink in Charming Pink.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
