This is "Pink Tulips", which is the card I made for this week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.
The inspiration I used for this card comes from this Mod Tulips Art print found on our Inspiration site Art.com.
For my card I am using A Colorful Life Designs stencils Layered Tulip Trio along with Dot Square Grid. I used inks by Pinkfresh Inks in Fresh Pear and Meadow for the leaves and for the Petals I used Ballet Slipper and Bubblegum.
The squares for the Dot Square Grid I used the Ballet Slipper ink.
For the card inside I added a piece of Hammermill cardstock to the cardbase to add my stencil work to. I do not like not having the extra piece of cardstock for this, it only feels properly done when using the extra paper.
To the piece of Hammermill cardstock I added a half page of the stencil design inside my card using the same technique and colours as I did for the card front.
I then stamped and die cut the sentiment for my card front using ink in VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and I stamped inside the card the second sentiment. For this I did not use the die.
The sentiment set is from Pinkfresh and called Heart Smiles Stamps and Die set.
I like how this turned out, and I hope you do as well. Thank you for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
