Meet "Believe in Yourself".
I recently bought this embossing folder called "Plaster" by Spellbinders. It is so interesting, the details are fabulous and so true to life. For Colour I added Pinkfresh Sunshine to the top and on the bottom I applied Pinkfresh Peony.
My base card is Neenah 110lb. cardstock. For the embossed pieces I used Hammermill cardstock in 100lb., which I attached to my cardbase using Art Glitter glue.
I have said this many times I am sure, but I do love the way Hammermill 100lb takes the inks which is why I always use it. If you have not tried it, do give it a go and see for yourself what I mean.
I embossed a smaller piece of Hammermill cardstock to use inside my card and applied the inks as I did on the card front.
For the inside I also added a piece of Hammermill before I added the embossed piece, which gives a clean appearance to the inside.
To the card front and the piece for the card inside I added splatters of white watercolour which I applied with a size 4 paint brush.
I then stamped the sentiments, added ink around the edges and attached them to the card front and the inside of my card. For the card front I used regular sized foam squares, and thin foam squares for the inside.
The sentiments are stamped using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. The sentiment on the card front is by by Pinkfresh Studios "Detailed Leaf" and the sentiment on the inside is by Gina K Designs "More Massive Sentiments".
Thank you for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card!
See you next time.
