Meet Birdie on a Branch.

I did this painting for the watercolour challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com where we visited Prema Watercolour for instructions of this sweet little bird.

You all know how much I love birds, with my little Lady Gouldian being my favourite bird of all. I should really paint him one day!

For this watercolour I tried the salt bit, but it never works for me. I guess I just don't hit that sweet spot at the right time.

I do however love what my branch did. It gives the impression that it is slightly foggy out, and I like that. Clearly it is from me adding the colour without the background being dry, but I was in a rush!!

My watercolour paper is Arches Cold Press and I attached my painting to a Gina K Designs cardbase using Art Glitter glue.
