Pretty Pink

This is "Pretty Pink".

Another clean and simple card today showing off a beautiful crochet flower that was sent to me some time ago. I clearly should have used it long before now as it is so pretty.

The stencil is by A Colorful Life Designs and called Diamond Lines, which I thought had the perfect spot to place my flower.

I decided to use Pink Flamingo distress oxide to colour the stencil, and love the contrast between the flower and the colour.

When I put this down to add the stencil I had everything lined up as I would normally do, yet here we are with a not so straight line on the left side. Not enough to not use the card though, stuff happens!

When done with the colouring using the stencil I then spritzed the stencil with water and turned it around laying it down on the inside of the card for a light design.

This makes for a very quick and easy card for today. Like everyone, there is a pull to be outside on a beautiful day like we have today.

So I want to send this off to you and get myself out to my balcony garden.

The sentiment is by Waffle Flower and called Fluttering by.

So I am sending you all hugs for a beautiful day.

See you next time.

  1. I love your pink cards. It is like old and new. It looks contemporary mixed with vintage crochet. I also like the second generations card. You are so talented. I would have never thought of that.
