Smile

This is "Smile".

This little image is from Lawn Fawn and called Here for you Bear which also has the coordinating die. I always buy these little sets as I love working with them, and they are not expensive!

Like all of you, the prices for stamps and dies has increased to the point that it has all but driven me out of this hobby. Yes, it is a hobby, and a stamp/die set I recently bought ended up costing $70.00 Cdn.

That is out of my league, and somthing I rarely do, especially if I want to eat! lol But hey, my pension only goes so far!

So as it turns out, it is a good thing I love these little sets so much. For this little bear I coloured using Copic markers in the following colours.

The Bear is E31, E33, E35; Cheeks and Ears R22; Raincoat R17, R14; Clouds and Puddles B00 and B01; Rainbow B00, R27, Y08 and G03. The Bear is stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and the others are stamped in silver and all the pieces were die cut using the coordinating dies.

For my background I used distress oxide inks in Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade and die cut the piece using Pinkfresh Studio Dotted Chevron plate. I framed the Chevron using Gina K Design cardstock in Jelly Bean Green.

I then die cut pieces using Taylored Expressions Postage Stacklets, where I attached the top piece using foam squares and glued the bottom piece to the cardfront.

I then attached the Bear pieces in place using both foam squares and Art Glitter glue. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and stamped the cloud with the smiley face.

To finish the card I added gems by Pinkfresh.
