Easter Blooms

Welcome Easter Blooms.

I had this Catherine Pooler stamp set that I wanted to use today, so I used it to make this Easter card. I used bold Copic colours and made a beautiful background using printable Cotton Canvas.

The idea for using this paper came from a lady at Splitcoaststampers who makes stunning cards, her user name is "card crazy" and here is the card that won me over. I found the Canvas on Amazon.ca.

For my background I am using Altenew's Curving Leaves embossing folder for my background, along with a Gina K Design Tangerine Twist cardstock for the card base.

In my mini Misti I stamped the flowers by Catherine Pooler called Dogwoods in Bloom using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black ink. As I did not have the matching dies, I fussy cut the images before colouring.

For the colours I used Copic markers YR12, YR16, YR18; G02, G03, G07; V17, V15, V12 and for the flower centres YG21 and YG25.

I arranged and attached the flowers using foam squares along with Art Glitter glue. On the inside I stamped the Easter sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime.

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Early Spring stamp set.

Thanks so much for your visit today.

See you next time.
