This is "Tweet" which I have made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today we are visiting My Red Door and their Pinterest page which leads me to my inspiration piece.

I changed the background plaid from the gray that was shown in the inspiration photo to Ultramarine Blue, with a whimsy touch.

Using Memento ink in Tuxedo Black I stamped the images by Lawn Fawn Winter Birds I wanted to use, then die cut them using the coordinating dies.

  I coloured the bird house, bird and branch using Copic markers to match the background plaid design in the blues. The branch is from Impression Obsession called "Birch Trees".

Using White watercolour I added snow to the roof of the bird house, then coloured the trim using R24 and R27, keeping the house itself white.

The bird is done using Y06, B24 and B29 and the branch is done using E23, E27 and E29. I applied foam tape to the back of the pieces before attaching to the card.

I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then attached the bird which I also used foam tape for. 

It was fun to just play around with this cute set, and I hope you have enjoyed it as well.
