Heart Smile

 

This is "Heart Smile". This card is for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today. My inspiration started with this picture.

I wanted to use designer paper in my design today and as I had this paper by Echo Park called Love Notes, I decided I would use it.

I decided to go all in with the paper, using two of the patterns from the 6x6 paper pack which gives me more colour choices. I cut the background paper to 5.25x4.0 and attached using Art Glitter glue to my Neenah card base.

From the mint paper I die cut the hearts using Paper Rose Stitched Heart dies along with the stitched dies cut in Gina K Designs Red Velvet card stock.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment pieces using both VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and Distress ink in Candied Apple and die cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped the mouse using Memento Ink in Tuxcedo Black and coloured him with Copic markers R81, R83 and E31 and R81 in the ears.

  I stamped the clusters of hearts using Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo and Candied Apple distress inks.

I attached the mouse using foam squares along with the heart on the left side of the card. I coloured the mouse's nose in the red and added Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.

On the inside I also used both of the papers and for now have left the sentiment until I know who this card will go to.
