November 2023 Release for A Colorful Life Designs

Hello all! Today we are celebrating the November 2023 Release from A Colorful Life Designs and I have to say I am sure you are going to love these stencil designs and I hope you will enjoy how I used the stencils.

For this Bird Mask stencil I used Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink, along with white gouache for splattering.
For this card I have used 2 stencils along with the Season's Tweetings stamp set. I mean, how fun is this? For the Candy Cane I used Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries distress oxide inks. On the Grinch Tree I used Mowed Lawn distress oxide.

I fussy cut the tree and attached it partially over the Candy Cane using foam squares. I then stamped, coloured and die cut the little bird, using foam squares to attach him to the top of the tree, then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamerous.
The background stencil is Forest of Trees, and the foreground stencil is Jointed Tree. On the background I used distress oxide inks in Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness. For the Jointed Tree I used Evergreen Bough and Walnut Stain. I then fussy cut the tree and attached it to the card front using foam squares.

To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from the Season's Tweetings set using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.
This stencil is Starry Top. I went with a bit of drama for this card using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black along with Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.

The sentiment is by Sizzix which I stamped and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment using the coordinating die to the set and attached it using foam squares, then added the 3 gold gems.
Meet Yuletide Floral. This is such a beautiful stencil! I used distress oxide inks in Saltwater Taffy, Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold. I stamped the sentiment which is from Sugar Pea Designs using VersaFine Clair ink in Twilight.

On the inside of the card I did a light stenciling using the same colours.
This stencil is Flaked Meltdown and I am using Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink. I inked up the stencil heavily then spritzed with a fair amount of water before turning the stencil over on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. I covered the stencil with a piece of regular paper and rubbed the area for a bit, to make sure the stencil transferred the ink well.

Some spots were heavier than others, which is fine, but there were a couple of near empty spots, which I just painted in with the paintbrush. I used the left over ink on a piece of watercolour paper for the inside of the card. Added splatters, using the Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink. I attached a Spellbinders sentiment which has been heat foiled and attached using foam squares to finish.
This stencil is called Layered Holly Sprig. I coloured it using Rustic Wilderness on the leaves and swirls, and Chipped Sapphire for the veins. I went around the edges of the stencil using Copic marker B02 and coloured the Berries with Copic marker R24.

I added the Spellbinders heat foiled sentiment in foam squares and also added a few sequins in the blue shade to finish.
This beautiful stencil is Prim Snowflake. I used Cracked Pistachio and Salvaged Patina on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. I added splatters in white Gouache, then added Pinkfresh gems.

To finish I stamped the sentiment from Sizzix using VersaFine Clair ink in Twilight along with Pinkfresh Gems.
This is my last card for today. Of course it would be about birds! This sweet bird is from the Season's Tweetings stamp set. I stamped it three times using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, then proceeded to colour using Copic markers in R27, R05, G14, G17, B02, B05 and YR15 with the tree branch done in E11 and E27.

For the background I used the Forest of Trees stencil along with Eucalyptus Pigment Ink.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed these card, as I certainly enjoyed making them.

See you next time.
