For the Birds

 

This is "For the Birds".

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. We visited Catch My Party for inspiration today, and there is a ton of it. I found mine here.

For my card I decided I would play with my Crazy Birds along with the stamps from Crazy Things, being the Santa Hat and the Candy Cane.

My background is embossed using Spellbinders Argyle Socks which I glued to my card base. I then added Sizzix Tall Pines which I sponged with Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles and attached using foam squares.

To the scene I then added the Crazy Bird which I coloured with Copic markers in R29, R24; YR23, YR21; and E33 on the beak along with FB02 around his eyes.

I attached the Crazy Bird using foam squares.

On the inside of the card I also embossed a piece of Hammermill cardstock, which is thinner than the Neenah that I used for the balance of my card. 

I then die cut a sentiment saying Merry Christmas in red cardstock and stamped and die cut a present as well which I coloured using Copic markers as noted above.
