Birds View

This is "Birds View".

I was determined to use Kitsch Flamingo with Squeezed Lemonade today, so I picked this Lawn Fawn Winter Wonderland die to use, which would show off the pink and yellow background perfectly.
The window is cut from Neenah cardstock with a piece of Hammermill cardstock added to the top for thickness. I used the left over from the original cut of the frame to apply the inks within the space.

Alas, when I removed the piece that I used for the colouring I had an "oops" with pink ink added along the edge of my card base. So, like all of us do I made it work for my design and added the pink ink along the three edges of the card.
To have the card cohesive I added Squeezed Lemonade around the border of the cardstock cut for the inside of my card. I will attach a picture at the end of this post.

Once the colouring was dry I attached the window using thin foam strips from Scrapbook.com to the back and peeled off the protection piece to adhere to my card base.
In my mini Misti I stamped the birds from Lawn Fawn Flappy Holidays, using Hammermill cardstock and coloured the birds using Copic markers in G02, R05, B02 and E18, E02 for the beak of the birds.

I then die cut the birds with the coordinating dies by Lawn Fawn and attached them inside the window using thin foam squares.
Using Picket Fence "Inside Quotes Christmas" I stamped the front of my card with VersaFine Clair ink in Charming Pink.

I do not normally take pictures of the inside of my cards to show, but I thought I would for this card so you could see what I meant by going around the edges with the squeezed lemonade.
I stamped the sentiment using the VersaFine Clair Charming Pink ink.

Thank you for your visit today. I hope you have enoyed this card.

See you next time.
