Holiday Cheer

This is "Holiday Cheer".

This card I have made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week Julie is our hostess and she has taken us to rebsfabstash.com.
I found my inspiration in these pins here and here. To start my card I am using Neenah cardstock for my card base and Hammermill cardstock for my top and inside panels.

Using one piece of the Hammermill I stamped the Penguin using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, and proceeded to colour the image using Copic markers.
The Copic colours I chose are for the Ribbon Y04, YG07, YG09 and G29; the Reds have an underlay of C9 with R29. His cheery cheeks are R81; The Pengins black colour is C9 with white gel pen accents.

The fur is C1, C3, and C5; and his beek is YR14 and YR18. The highlights on his cheeks are C1.
Once all the colouring was complete I cut and added the strips of designer paper, deciding to not do anything fancy. It is older paper from My Favorite Things.

Once the strips were complete, in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Catherine Pooler ink in Cranberry Fizz.
To finish my card I added a splattering of Pinkfresh Glitter drops in Ruby.

Thanks so much for your visit today. I hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
