Perfect Day

 

This is Perfect Day by my friend Joyce. We got together to play around with minimal colours and the same stamp set. It was a fun day needless to say. Always so fun to stamp with a friend.

And this is Perfect Day by me. The background is the same colour on both cards. The stamp is by Pinkfresh called Delicate Rosebuds and the coordinating die.

In the mini Misti we stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. To colour the roses and leaves Joyce used G12, G02, Y32, Y35, Y38.

For the background we used a mix of Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina and die cut the background using Penny Black's Elegant Stitching.

For my card I used Copics in YG41, G02, G00, RV13, RV21.

The stamped sentiment was done using Kitsch Flamingo Distress ink and die cut with the coordinating die that comes in the die package.

I attached the card using small foam squares to add dimension and to finish I added a few gems, also from Pinkfresh.

Joyce used the same background die and colours as I did. She stamped her sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime and adhered it using foam squares.

She also used foam squares to attach the roses, and the same Leaf gems from Pinkfresh.

We had a fun day together, as I think you can see from the pictures. We had lunch and even had time for a good chat.
