This is One Nut to Another!
A birthday card for my brother-in-law is what I made for today's Watercolour Wednesday challenge. I am hosting this week's challenge and opted for us to use a favourite stamp for the challenge, and to use technique's we have learned on our watercolour journey.
This stamp is Hey Squirrelly from Ink on 3. He is just too cute and I knew I wanted to paint him up for this challenge and make a birthday card too. I am painting on Arches cold press 140lb paper.
I used Daniel Smith paints in Janes Grey, Burnt Sienna, Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Chromium Cerulean Blue and Quinacridone Rose. I painted wet on wet, as I love how the colours get together using this technique.
I do like how this turned out, hope you do as well.
