Nature Blue Painting

This piece I have painted for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting today's challenge and have picked this "Painting of nature with watercolor - blue painting".

To do my painting I used Phthalo Blue (Red Shade), and a bit of Phthalo Blue (Green Shade) plus Raw Umber on the Barn. It is a bit darker than what I would have liked, but it does have a lot of drama, which I do like.

To paint I used my Escoda Brush in size 10, and my DaVince brush in size 4. When I look at the size of these trees they remind my of the trees around my neighbourhood, which is an older neighbourhood, hence very old tall trees.

I am using Arches 140lb cold press watercolour paper for this painting.

I found this to be a relaxing piece to paint and hope you might give it a go.

Thanks so much for dropping by today.

See you next time.
