Yum

This is "Yum".

This card I have made for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.  Our hostess today is Stacy and she has picked a fabulous Pinterest site called Heirloomed.
My inspiration for this card came from this grilled sandwich. The colours worked for me, using the yellow and green from the Avocado, the pink from the Salmon, and the black from the background, which also has hints of blue.

For my background I used distress oxide colours in Worn Lipstick, Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass.

Using A Colorful Life Design stencil called Mr. Bubble I applied Picket Fence Paper Glitz in Sparkle to the background and set the piece aside to dry.

The stamp is digital from Whimsy Stamps called Penguin Ice Cream, so I sized and printed it on Hammermill cardstock and proceeded to colour it with Copic markers.

For the Penguin I used 110, Special Black. His tummy is done using C1, C3, Y11, the nose is Y19, YR18, Y11; ice cream cone is E35 and E39; ice cream is B00, B01 and YG41, YG45; and his feet are YR18, Y19, Y13, E35.

To put my card together I picked Taylored Expressions Guava cardstock for my card base. I then added Gina K Design cardstock in Black Onyx to mat, then added my cover piece.
I propped the Penguin up on foam squares along with the ice cream and the drips. I die cut two pieces of each of the letters, glued them together with Art Glitter glue then attached them to my card front.

I certainly have been getting a chuckle out of this card. I hope you have enjoyed it as well.

Thanks so much for your visit.

See you next time.
