Summer Fun

Meet "Summer Fun".

And I had to make this card to share with you today. I had a friend over yesterday and this is one of the cards we made, laughing the whole time.
As most of you know by now, I love bright happy colours, and this stamp screamed for it! But first, I had to add a background that would suit this stamp which is by AALL and Create, #378. These stamps do not have names.

On my Neenah card base I opted for A Colorful Life Design Monstera Leaves which I coloured using distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade
For the little girl I stamped in my mini Misti using Memento Ink, then coloured using Copic markers, being Y02, Y08 for the daisy flower; E99 and YR27 for her hair; B02, B01, B06. Y08 and RV06 on her dress, book, tights, sweater and book cover; C3 and E99 for paintbrushes and B01 for her eyes plus enamel dots in yellow and E40, E02 for her face and hands.

As there are not dies for these stamps I scanned the image through my Scan'n Cut to cut her out.
I cut a piece vellum 2 inches by 4.25 inches and applied anti-static powder to the left side, then stamped using VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossing with Lawn Fawn white embossing powder and attached the piece to my card front using disappearing tape.

Using foam squares I attached the cut out girl to the card front.
To finish I added a few enamel dots in green and turquoise sparkle.

I do hope you have had a giggle with me when viewing this card and I thank you for your visit.

See you next time.
